MUSEUM OF
Creativity
stop by and experience the Vaughn Reid Museum of Creativity
A remarkable collection of original and collected creations on display just off of Highway 10, just past the town of Clawson. Vaughn and Elna Reid have acquired, created and displayed a wild collection of oddities and originals for all to enjoy.
The museum invites people in with a large “UFO landing site” sign and large silver, sparkling installations visible from the highway. The museum is in the house and yard. Visitors enter into the “Tree Room” that is build around a 400 year old tree that was brought down from Horn Mountain that is paired with displays that tell the history of the region. The “grandpa wall” is a tribute to the family’s contribution to the timber industry, as are the handcrafted furniture items on display.
Out in the yard visitors are welcome to walk around and take pictures of the antique cars, workshops and art pieces that pepper the landscape. Visitors are encouraged to remember that this is a private residence, and be respectful of the property and those that run it.
